Use these tips to get the ultimate summer look with natural freckles all around. The best help to achieve great freckles is find a picture of a great naturally freckled face and use this as your guide for placement, size and color.

Eyebrow Products

Eyebrow pencils are great to create freckles. The key to achieving realistic looking freckles is picking 3-5 different shades. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz’s are a great tool to create natural looking freckles. Take 3 shades of brow wiz, we suggest Caramel, Auburn and Medium Brown, and start applying around nose and cheeks alternating pencils to get a realistic finish. Blend out the product into the skin with a beauty blender to finish it up.

Lip-stains 

Lipstains can be used for so many other things other than the lips! Take a small pointed brush and a brown lip stain product of your choice, Huda Beauty’s are extremely long lasting. Get a bit of product on the brush and start applying it to the areas where you would naturally have freckles, which are usually the high points of your face (nose, forehead, cheeks). Again, don’t forgot to blend out the product.

Henna 

If you want your freckles to last more than a day, this is a great way getting that done. This might take a bit more effort, but it's a great trick that can last a week. Simply apply the Henna on the areas you desire to place the freckles. Leave the Henna to dry and then remove it with warm water or with a tissue.

Toni’s favorites for creating freckles

Toni uses a mixture of lip pencils and eyebrow products to create faux freckles. A full face of faux freckles usually takes her up to 20 minutes to create, so take your time to get it right. Her Must-Have product for freckles is MAC Penultimate Brow Marker in brown. She starts painting different sized freckles onto the face using the Brow Marker while quickly dabbing them with her finger right after to smudge and blend for a more realistic feel. Then she marks freckles in between using MAC Lip Pencils in Cork, Stripdown, Oak, and Chestnut as well as Topshop’s Freckle Pencil. Her Pro-Tip is to make sure that you have some clusters of freckles, as freckles are not usually evenly distributed on a face, some are closer together some are far apart.
